Darca Heritage has been designed specifically for museum curators and conservators monitoring large installations. The software allows sensors to be referred to according to their physical location. Sophisticated but simple-to-use, it provides powerful tools for:
In addition to standard measured values, calculated parameters may be added and analysed. Sensors may also be metered graphically on user-entered floor plans.
The enhanced version of the software, Darca Heritage Version 2, has been designed specifically for environmental monitoring on a large scale site with data accessed by multiple users. All site layout information and downloaded data is stored centrally in a database for ease of maintenance.
Darca Heritage Version 1 allows you to analyse your data by referring to its physical location. A Site is divided into Zones which contain Groups of measured data points.
In the following illustration of a simple site layout, there are two Zones: 'Ground floor' and 'First floor'. Each Zone contains two Groups (which are effectively transmitters), measuring particular physical locations. A receiver/logger in the office collects the data from the transmitters.
A tour of Darca Heritage 1 is available.
As with Version 1, Darca Heritage Version 2 allows you to analyse your data by referring to its physical location. A Site is divided into Buildings, which are sub-divided into Zones, each of which contains Groups of measured data points.
In the following illustration of a simple site layout, there are two Buildings. 'Building 1' contains two Zones, 'Ground floor' and 'First floor'. Each Zone contains two Groups (which are effectively transmitters), measuring particular physical locations. A receiver/logger in the office collects the data from the transmitters.
Darca Heritage 2 stores all data in a database, which allows transmitters to be relocated at any time. Data stored in the database can be accessed quickly and securely by a large number of users simultaneously.
Darca Heritage 2 has three levels of user:
A Site Administrator can configure the software, set up the site and retrieve data from the data logger.
A Department Administrator can specify which zones are in their department, in order to create a cut-down version of the whole site which is appropriate to that department.
A Secondary User can only view charted data or a snapshot of the latest stored values.
Darca Heritage V2 contains the facility to send emails and text messages when alarm conditions occur or when aspects of the system may not be functioning correctly.
Alarm Emailing works by maintaining a list of users, each of which has a number of email addresses and/or mobile phones associated with it. Alarm types can then be enabled/disabled for each user.
Alarms may also be sent as text messages. Each mobile phone associated with the system can be set to monitor a specific area of the site.
