RP250GD Repeater

The Eltek telemetry radio range can be hundreds of meters without the use of nodes requiring power. Furthermore, the range can be extended to cover large areas by strategic placement of repeaters.

The RP250GD repeater receives and rebroadcasts signals from GenII transmitters, significantly extending the distance over which a system can operate. Multiple repeaters can be used in a system.

Features

  • Contains high performance receiver and transmitter compliant to EN 300-220.
  • LCD indicates on-air transmitter identity, status and signal strength.
  • Extends range of transmitters many-fold.
  • Multiple repeaters can be used, enabling difficult sites to be covered easily.
  • Mains powered with built-in rechargeable batteries to provide up to 48 hours standby in the event of a mains failure.
  • Free standing or wall mountable.
  • Antenna socket permits use of external antenna to improve performance in difficult conditions.
  • PC software is used to configure the repeater, download transmitter activity data and specify transmitter authorisation.

RP250GDDA Repeater

Specially designed for repeating signals through an RF barrier.

Features

  • The RP250GDDA has all the features of the RP250GD, with the addition of 2x antenna SMA connectors; with one antenna to be placed within the barrier, and one on the far side.
  • The RP250GD repeater receives and rebroadcasts signals from GenII transmitters, significantly extending the distance over which a system can operate. Multiple repeaters can be used in a system.

Please note: the antenna wire will need to penetrate the RF barrier. Typically, an installation would warrant 2x LW-ANT antennae.

Accessories

Antennae:

UHFflexi/SMA standard quarter wave whip

LW-ANT/SMA lightweight indoor or external dipole antenna

Yagi directional antenna

The UHF flexi/SMA standard quarter wave whip antenna and LW-ANT/SMA antenna have a similar performance profile; but the LW-ANT/SMA can be used when the logger is required to be placed inside a screened cabinet, or better reception can be achieved by placing the antenna in a particular location where it would not be practical to locate a logger. Yagi directional antennae are useful in outdoors applications for achieving a longer distance between the transmitter and receiver. Please note that in the UK, these antennae should only be used with a logger or receiver; please check your local regulations if you are outside the UK.
