Transmitters for flood monitoring
Sensors are not included and must be ordered separately.
|GC60F||The GenII flood sensing system consists of the battery powered GC60F transmitter to which one or two flood sensing cables can be connected. Each flood sensing cable assembly consists of two sections: an inactive section and an active section. The active section of the cable is an exposed pair of steel wires twisted about a black and yellow flat pair, forming a continuous 4 core twist. The exposed steel wires perform the flood detection. The black and yellow wires have no functional use but serve to make the cable easily recognisable so that it is less likely to be confused with other alarm or wiring installations.
The GC60F transmits a "1.0" to indicate OK and a "0.0" to indicate that wetness or flood is detected. This value is recorded by the logger. The system does not provide an indication of the severity of wetness or flooding.
The Darca software can be configured to alarm if a "0.0" condition is detected. This in turn can generate a SMS text message, local audible and/or visual alarm or trigger an autodialler.
|LC-Leak15/4||Leak sensing cable with 15m inactive section and 4m active section. For other combinations the flood sensing cables can be made to order.
To order use the following code: GC60F / AxaM / AyaM / BxbM / BybM where:
xa = length in metres of cable A’s inactive section
ya = length in metres of cable A’s active section
xb = length in metres of cable B’s inactive section
yb = length in metres of cable B’s active section
(insert “0” if Not required)
